Project Wildflower
Project Wildflower is an effort in using photogrammetry to develop photorealistic environments for real world locations.
The primary goal of the project is to help train current students on the relatively new processes and pipelines of photogrammetry. The secondary goal is to publish a repeatable guide on how to capture areas of interest and blend them together with more generalized assets to create larger maps for use in real-time game applications. We are not attempting to develop a polished game or application, but if this is successful, we will be able to share an efficient method for creating both recognizable geographical areas and generalizable environments for use in Unreal Engine.
